Robyn Lawrence is a dedicated advocate for the families of Lake and Orange Counties. As the first transgender candidate from Lake County to run for public office, Robyn is seeking to make history as the first transgender woman to serve in the Florida House of Representatives. She will appear on the primary ballot in August 2026.

Awards & Accomplishments

Robyn Elaine Lawrence demonstrated outstanding dedication through her service with the Lake County Citizens on Patrol organization. She invested countless hours in classroom training to prepare herself to serve the community effectively, and upon successfully completing the program, she committed her time to patrolling neighborhoods and assisting with traffic control at accident scenes, parades, and special events. Her service extended even further, as her COP training enabled her to support elderly and disabled residents by conducting wellness checks and installing emergency lockboxes for first responders. Robyn exceeded the expectations of her commanding officer, becoming the first member of her class trusted to ride solo. Her unwavering commitment, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond.

Robyn’s campaign is rooted in the belief that every resident deserves a voice in Tallahassee. Her platform focuses on the “kitchen table” issues that impact the daily lives of Floridians:

Addressing the Cost of Living: Robyn recognizes that the cost of simply existing continues to rise. She is committed to fighting rent increases and economic pressures that make it difficult for families and seniors to remain in their homes.
Expanding Access to Healthcare: With millions of Floridians facing potential reductions in health coverage, Robyn is a staunch defender of affordable, accessible care. She believes healthcare is a fundamental necessity, not a privilege.
Defending Civil Rights: Robyn is a vocal advocate for women’s reproductive rights and the protection of LGBTQ+ residents. Following the rollback of Roe v. Wade, she is committed to restoring bodily autonomy and ensuring that everyone can live with safety, dignity, and respect.
Environment: Robyn wants to make sure our water is clean, our food is healthy, and our environment is protected.
Protection for our Children: Robyn will strive everyday to help protect the children of District 26, to many time children are bullied on line and in schools, parents shouldn’t have to worry about the safety of their child while they are in school.
Support for our Law Enforcement: Robyn feels that everyone should support our local law enforcement.
Protection for the LGBTQ+ Community: Robyn knows first hand the hate that the lgbtq+ community receives, the trans community is in danger from the current administration from both state and the white house, she promises to stive everyday to protect the transgender community.
